The Story of Navinchandra
In 1960, our founders, Vinodrai Sheth and Sharad Sheth began the trading business with one objective in mind - delivering excellence. We began by importing and trading a wide range of post harvest agricultural machinery and food processing machinery. In parallel, we also made our foray into manufacturing by setting up a small unit to manufacture perforated sheets.
The expertise gained, coupled with a strong market for cast iron based agricultural machinery, made it increasingly necessary to assemble the product in house so that complete quality control could be achieved. This led us to set up an assembling and machining unit in Coimbatore in 1991.
We subsequently backward integrated by taking a foundry on lease in the early 2000s for captive production. More recently, since setting up our new facility we have diversified our product offerings by manufacturing water pump parts, automotive components and components used in the construction industry.
Operating out of a state-of-the-art facility spread over 45,000 sq ft.
Our Facility
Our current manufacturing unit is a state-of-the-art 45,000 Sq Ft facility located 30 km outside Coimbatore. It is an ISO 9001:2015 certified foundry and machine shop with a world class laboratory. This enables us to ensure consistent delivery of products which conform to the high standards of our clients. We manufacture various grades of grey cast iron as well as ductile cast iron.
